The Hill Country is one of the beautiful place of Sri Lanka where you can explore the magnificent landscapes, cool climate along with relaxing lifestyle, etc which continues to attract many local/foreign travellers who really need a break from daily lifestyles & who are seeking to escape their daily grind.

Most of all, however, it’s the sheer magnificence of the natural environment that attracts visitors time and again, with its carefully manicured tea gardens and sublime vistas shadowed by the craggy grey summits of the region’s highest peaks.

Nuwara Eliya is located at the heart of the hill country 6182 feet above from the sea level.The town is situated at 74 km away along Kandy-Nuwara Eliya road and this was rediscovered by British in 1827. It is still very much like an old English town with styled Bungalows and buildings. The cool calm climate, gorges rolling tea plantation which makes
the best “Ceylon tea” and the breathtaking beautiful waterfalls makes Nuwara Eliya one of the most beautiful town in the world. It is a place where people come for enjoy the cool relaxing climate and for the summer festivals. Summer comes to Nuwara Eliya end of March. Once summer comes the city becomes a crowded place with thousands of local and foreign visitors. During this time Nuwara Eliya becomes a beautiful place with all sorts of festivals taking place. The festivals are organized by the municipal council of the town and the most highlighted events are the fox hill motor cross, motor bicycle races, boat races and horse races at the race course.

  • Day 1(Arrival Kathmandu and Transfer to Hotel)
    Upon your arrival in the Kathmandu airport, you will be greeted by Red Carpet Tours and Travels representative and transferred to hotel. After check in, you can either take a rest or hang around in the city depending on your interest and time constraint. In the evening, there will be a pre-trip discussion, introducing with your Tour guide. You will have an opportunity to ask any questions related to the tour program. Overnight at hotel.
  • Day 2(Kathmandu Sightseeing)
    Today after breakfast, we start a guided sightseeing to historical and spiritual sites in Kathmandu. Some of these landmarks are considered World Heritage Sites that include the historic Durbar Square, the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, the famous 'Monkey Temple' (Swayambhunath) and Buddhists shrine (Buddhanath) which is one of the largest Stupas in the world. Overnight at hotel.
  • Day 3(Fly & arrive to Kandy)
    After breakfast,you will proceed to your destination. On arrival at the Bandaranaike International airport, you will be warmly greeted by your very own chauffeur guide and transferred to Kandy (Approx. 3hrs drive). On arrival in the hotel, spend the day at leisure relaxing and enjoying the hotel facilities. Spend two overnights at Earl’s Regency. Accommodation is in Deluxe rooms with ensuite facilities. Your stay is on Half Board basis.
  • Day 4(Kandy/Pinnawala/Peradeniya/Kandy)
    After breakfast drive to Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage (approx. 1 ½ hrs)-The Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage provides visitors with the best chance of seeing a large number of elephants at close quarters. The orphanage was established in 1 75 and commenced with seven orphaned elephants. Today some of these orphans enjoy the fortune of seeing their calf’s born in the same location. Assisted by local and foreign elephant experts, Pinnawala commenced a successful captive breeding program and the first baby elephant was born in 1 84. It is most interesting to visit at feeding time to see the baby elephants being bottle fed and the entire herd taken for a bath thereafter to the river nearby. On completion of this visit, you will be transferred to Peradeniya where you will be able to visit the Botanical Garden. It is situated about 5.5 km to the west from the city of Kandy in the Central Province of Sri Lanka It is renowned for its collection of a variety of orchids. It includes more than 4000 species of plants, including of orchids, spices, medicinal plants and palm trees. The total area of the botanical garden is 147 acres. Spend overnight at Earl’s Regency   
  • Day 5(Kandy/Nawara Eliya)
    After breakfast, proceed with your guide to visit a Tea Plantation and a Tea Factory. (Approx. 02 hours drive). TEA PLANTATIONS - Tea was first planted in Sri Lanka in 1824 at the Botanical Gardens at Peradeniya, when a few plants were brought from China. More were introduced from Assam in 1839. In 1867, a Scottish Planter named James Taylor planted tea seedlings in an 8 hectares of forestland, in the Loolkondura Estate.   In 1873, the tea export industry of Sri Lanka began with a modest 23 lbs. being hipped to London. Tea will grow only on rolling terrain and is classified by elevation into low grown, medium grown and high grown into 3 main groups. Today more than 200,000 hectares in highlands and other areas are under Tea and around 300 million Kilograms, with a 25% of world tea exports are done by Sri Lanka as the World’s largest Tea exporter. In the Evening, you can enjoy a city tour in Nuwara Eliya. In this city tour You can visit Victoria Park. It is an attractive and well-used oasis. It is popular with birdwatchers at quieter times because of the good opportunities it gives to see various species, And also you can visit Gregory Lake. If you want boat ride on Gregory Lake, We can arrange it. As well as you can visit Golf courses in Nuwara Eliya Town. Spend overnight at Heritance Tea Factory. Accommodation is in a Standard room with ensuite facilities. Your stay is on Half Board basis.  
  • Day 6(Nuwara Eliya/Colombo)
    After the Breakfast we drive to Haggala Botanical Garden (Approx. 30 Mins  drive). The Gardens was firs established in 1861 under the curatorship of three British of the same name - William Nock, JK Nock and JJ Nock. It lies under the Hakgala Peak, between 5000 - 6000 feet in elevation - the highest set Botanic Gardens in the world. It boasts 100 year old Monetary Cypress trees from California, Japanese Cedars, Himalayan Pines and English Oak. On completion of this visit you will be transferred to Colombo. (Approx. 06  hours drive). Spend overnights at Cinnamon Grand. Accommodation is in Deluxe rooms with ensuite facilities. Your stay is on Half Board basis.
  • Day 7(Colombo to airport & Back to Kathmandu)
    Today after breakfast, you will be met our Driver and transferred to Airport for departure. (Approx. 01 hour drive).Then you will depart for Kathmandu.& within 7 - 8 hours you will reach kathmandu. O/N at hotel in Kathmandu  
  • Day 8(Final Departure)
