Khoma, village in Lhuntse known for weaving kishu Thara. In olden day’s people of Khoma used to trade from Tibet crossing 18 bridges. In 1961 trade route to Tibet was closed and started from Samdrup Jongkhar.People bring sheep wool. Jachen and shersho from Tibet but mostly they used jachen. In olden days they mainly cultivate rice and maize. Their main source of income is weaving. For those seeking a quiet spiritual retreat, this is the perfect destination.

  • Day 1(Arrival in Kathmandu (1300 m) & transfer to hotel)
    Upon your arrival in the Kathmandu airport, you will be greeted by Red Carpet Tours and Travels representative and transferred to hotel. After check in, you can either take a rest or hang around in the city depending on your interest and time constraint. In the evening, there will be a pre-trip discussion, introducing with your Tour guide. You will have an opportunity to ask any questions related to the tour program. Overnight at hotel
  • Day 2(Kathmandu Sightseeing)
    Today after breakfast, we start a guided sightseeing to historical and spiritual sites in Kathmandu. Some of these landmarks are considered World Heritage Sites that include the historic Durbar Square, the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, the famous 'Monkey Temple' (Swayambhunath) and Buddhists shrine (Buddhanath) which is one of the largest Stupas in the world.
  • Day 3(Arrive Paro and sightseeing)
    On your arrival at Paro international airport, you will be received by guide and driver and drive to visit Paro dzong (also known as Rinpung dzong is the venue for the annual Paro Tsechu festival held every spring), National Museum (known as Ta Dzongsince it has been turned into national museum, was the watch tower of Paro dzong in 17th century). Overnight at PARO.
  • Day 4(Paro to Punakha and Wangdue)
    After the breakfast transfer to Punakha and to Wangdi phodrang, the drive to Punakha & Wangdi Phodrang isabout 5 hours from Paro via Dochula pass at 3150m, one can have a magnificent view of Eastern Himalayas on the clear weather from the pass. Further down hill drive from the pass will take you to the warm and humid valley of Punakha. In Punakha visit Punakha Dzong built in 1637 by Lam Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyel). The dzong is built between Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu. And then drive towards Wangdi phodrang and visit Wangdiphodrang dzong (built in 1638). Overnight at WANGDI PHODRANG.
  • Day 5(Wangdue -Trongsa - Bumthang)
    Breakfast in hotel drive to visit Wangdue Dzong ( built in 1638 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyel) and then long drive to Bumthang, crossing Pelela pass at 3360m. Photograph break at the pass, further 1hr 30min drive from the pass will take to the village of Chendebji where the lunch will be served in Tabdey restaurant near Chenbdji stupa (the Nepal style eye stupa). Further drive from the lunch spot will reach to the town of Trongsa (the town in central Bhutan). Sightseeing of Trongsa dzong (the fortress in central Bhutan from where the Wang chuck dynasty came to power in 1907). And then further proceed to Bumthang crossing another pass of Yotongla at 3400m and Kikila pass at 2700m. On reaching Bumthang check in hotel, dinner. Overnight at JAKAR.
  • Day 6(Bumthang sightseeing)
    Breakfast in hotel and whole day sightseeing of Bumthang valley includes, visit to Jakar dzong (this fortress was initially built as the temple in 1549 AD, it is now the administrative centre for Bumthang district), Jampa lhakhang (one of the oldest temple in Bhutan, which date backs to 7th century before the arrival of Buddhism in the country). Chakar lhakhang (means the iron castle was the palace of the King from India who built Nine storied iron castle in the 8th century), Kurjey lhakhang (the temple dedicated to the great Buddhist master Guru Padmasambhava who introduced Buddhism in 8th century). Overnight at JAKAR.
  • Day 7(Bumthang to Kurtoe (Lhuntse))
    After the breakfast in hotel, drive towards Mongar via Thruemshing La Pass (3780m), it will take around 10 hours through the dense forest. The drive is liked or recommended by environment lovers. Overnight at Kurtoe.
  • Day 8(Textile sightseeing at Kurtoe and drive to Tashigang)

  • Day 9(Trashigang - Rangjung- Phongme)
    After the breakfast, drive towards Phongme Village, on the way visit Ranjung wodsel chholing Monastry built in1990 by Garab Rimpochhe for the people of Rangjung. And than proceed to Phongme Enroute to Phongme valley and visit Phongme Temple was built in the 17th century, later in 1911, Lt. Drungpa Lemja and the popel of Phongme gewog collaboratively extended the temple. With the introduction of Buddhism in Phongme in 1910, local Tsechu 9 mask dance) was introduced. Overnight at TRASHIGANG.
  • Day 10(Trashigang to Mongar (night halt at Mongar))
    Today you will drive from Trashigang to Mongar (night halt at Mongar).
  • Day 11(Mongar to Wangdue (night halt at wangdue))
    Today you will drive from Mongar to Wangdue (night halt at wangdue).
  • Day 12(Wangdue to Thimphu (night halt at Thimphu))
    After breakfast,you will drive from Wangdue to Thimphu (night halt at Thimphu) After Breakfast drive towards Thimphu ( The capital city of Bhutan) and in Thimphu visit to Memorial Chorten (the stupa was built in 1974 in the memory of our late Majesty the King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck), Changangkha Lhakhang,(the drukpa kagyu monastery on the hill top of Thimphu town), Art school (the traditional school for the thirteen arts and crafts in Bhutan).Towards the evening visit Tashichodzong (the “fortress of the Glorious religion which houses the throne room for His Majesty The King, the main secretariat building and the central monastic body).Overnight at THIMPHU
  • Day 13(Thimphu to Paro & Taktshang hike)
    Early breakfast and then drive to Paro, than drive till hiking point to Taktshang monastery (the monastery perched on the side of a cliff at a height of 900 meters above the Paro valley), round trip hike to Taktshang monastery which is about 3-4 hours from the car point. Lunch at the cafeteria (view point).After lunch sightseeing of Drugyel dzong (the fortress in ruins built in commemoration over Tibetan invasion in 17th century).Towards evening stroll in and around the town for last shopping in Bhutan. Overnight at PARO
  • Day 14(Depart for Kathmandu)
    After breakfast drive towards Airport, you will be See off by your guide and driver for your flight to Kathmandu.
  • Day 15(Depart from Kathmandu)
