Bardia National Park is a protected area in Nepal that was established in 1988 as Royal Bardia National Park. Covering an area of 968 km2 (374 sq mi) it is the largest and most undisturbed wilderness area in Nepal's Terai, adjoining the eastern bank of the Karnali River in the Bardiya District. About 70% of the park is covered with forest, with the balance a mixture of grassland, savannah and riverine forest The flora recorded in the park comprises 839 species of flora, including 173 vascular plant species comprising 140 dicots, 26 monocots, six fern, and one gymnosperm species. Bardiya national park has the greatest number of deer species.

  • Day 1(Arrival at Kathmandu and Transfer to Hotel)
    On arrival at Kathmandu airport, you will be greeted by Red Carpet Tours and Travels’ representative and promptly transferred to your designated hotel. After checking in at the hotel, you can either take a break or hang around in the city premises depending on your interest and time constraint. In the evening, there will be a pre-trip discussion, and a concise introduction with your tour guide. Here you have all opportunities to ask questions related to the tour program. Overnight stay arrangements at a designated hotel.
  • Day 2(Kathmandu sightseeing)
    Today after breakfast, we start a guided sightseeing to historical and spiritual sites in Kathmandu. Pashupatinath, Bouddhanath, Budhanikantha, Swayambhunath, Kathmandu Durbar Square (Center of City) and Patan Durbar Square is known as the city of fine arts. The city is full of Hindu temples and Buddhist monuments and Listed World heritage site - 6/7 hrs and back to hotel, free time for individual programmed. Overnight stay Hotel. -Pashupatinath: is one of the most significant Hindu temples of Lord Shiva in the world, located on the banks of the Bagmati River in the eastern part of Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. -Budanilkantha: In the village of Budanilkantha lies a 5 meter tall sleeping Vishnu (Jalasayana) in the middle of a small pond. -Bouddhanath: is one of the holiest Buddhist sites in Kathmandu. The Buddhist stupa of Boudhanath dominates the skyline. The ancient Stupa is one of the largest in the world. -Swayambhunath: is an ancient religious complex atop a hill in the Kathmandu Valley, west of Kathmandu city. It is also known as the Monkey Temple as there are holy monkeys living in the north-west parts of the temple. -Kathmandu Durbar Square: or Basantapur Durbar Square is the plaza in front of the old royal palace of the Kathmandu Kingdom. It is one of three Durbar Squares in the Kathmandu Valley in Nepal, all of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
  • Day 3( Flight to Nepalgunj)
    Breakfast at the hotel, and then depart to domestic airport according to departure time to Nepalgunj. On arrival at Nepalgunj, drive from airport to Bardiya hotel, lunch at the hotel, then relax in our Tharu bar or beautiful garden. 
  • Day 4(Explore Tharu Life in Bardiya)
    After breakfast, we set out to discover Tharu life and culture through our Tharu village and culture tour. After lunch we continue to explore the tiger territory. Overnight at hotel. -Cultural  programme from Tharus in their traditional colorful costumes. The variety includes famous stick dance and dance with guests. Experience the uniquely placed culture and relish what their culture is like. For centuries the Tharus have lived very close to this protected area and hence their tradition reflects their intimate relationship with the natural world. Visitthe Tharu village and share their world with them as you reach out to touch another culture.
  • Day 5(Activities in Bardiya)
    After breakfast, we begin our walking safari to view Gangetic Dolphin- swimming possible. After lunch Elephant back safari, also available rafting option. Overnight stay at hotel.
  • Day 6(Bird watching in Bardiya, drive to Kathmandu)
    Early morning Bird watching – followed by chance to relax or explore the surrounding village. After lunch we drive to Nepalgunj airport for departure to Kathmandu. On arrival transfer to hotel, leisure time in the evening and overnight stay at hotel.
  • Day 7(Final departure)
    Drive to airport, departure to home country or stay back for optional Everest mountain flight.  NOTE: We will customize the itinerary as per the requirement of the customer other than the above. For Trip Cost,please contact us.
